OFFICE HOURS AND LOCATION

PURSUANT TO
CODE SECTION 2-2-114A of the Tennessee Election Laws, the
Grainger County Election Commission office is located in the old post
office building at 119 Marshall Ave., in Rutledge, TN Office
hours are Monday - Friday 8:30 a.m. until 4:30 p.m. Commission
Office will be closed on Monday, July 5th for the Holiday, but will be
open on Saturday, July 3rd from 8:30 a.m. until 12:00 noon. This
is the Saturday before the registration deadline of July 6th for the
August 5th State Primaries and County General Elections.
PURSUANT TO CODE SECTION 2-3-109E of the Tennessee Election Laws,
notice is hereby given that if any elderly or handicapped voter's
polling place is inaccessible, such voter has the right to vote
"early", "by absentee ballot", or at the Election Commission Office on
August 5th for the County General / State Primary Elections.
Voter shall complete an affidavit at the Election Commission Office
stating that voter's designated polling place does not comply with the
Provisions of the Public Law 98-435. The affidavit must be
received by the County Election Commission Office by July 26,
2010. The County Election Commission does not discriminate on the
basis of disability. If there are questions about needed
accomodations in the voting process, please call our office.

EARLY VOTING
PURSUANT TO CODE SECTION 2-6-103C of the Tennessee Election Laws, the
Grainger County Electiion Commission office hours for Early Voting will
be Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, and Friday from 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.,
and on Wednesday and Saturday from 8:30 a.m. until 12:00 noon.
